Grace Allen has had an interest in all things international since she spent her grade 11 year as an international exchange student in Odense, Denmark. She enthusiastically pursued this interest throughout her postgraduate education. She holds a BA with a double major in International Relations and Hispanic Studies from Mount Allison University, where she graduated with first class honours with distinction and won the Ambassador of Spain’s Prize for Spanish. She earned an MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science where she focused her thesis on the intersection of migrants’ rights and citizenship. Grace stayed in London to complete her LLB at the City University of London in 2015, returning to her hometown of Halifax, N.S. to begin practicing law with a focus on immigration, refugees and human rights. She has experience in refugee claims, temporary permits for visitors, students and workers alike, permanent residence applications through the federal and provincial streams and citizenship applications.Reviews
