Alison Oxtoby is a lawyer at Balmains Law Corporation, where she works primarily in the areas of trusts & estates, corporate/commercial law and tax-planned corporate reorganizations. She began her legal career over 20 years ago in Vancouver, where she was a partner with a leading national law firm. She moved to the Okanagan in 2008 and started her own firm with one other lawyer in 2014. Alison has completed the CICA’s In-depth Tax Course. She is a former member of the executive of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Vancouver Branch, the Past-Chair of the STEP Okanagan Chapter and Past Co-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Okanagan Wills & Trusts Section.
