Anne’s commercial litigation practice includes most areas of real property and contract disputes such as commercial mortgage enforcement, title issues, transactional disputes and construction deficiencies. She also practices in the area of estates and trusts litigation. Anne has a background in insurance law and applies this experience to her current practice in assisting clients with insurance issues such as coverage disputes that arise in the context of litigation. She brings a practical approach to the resolution of complex commercial disputes as well as contentious estates matters.
Mediation Practice
Anne has recently put her 30 years of experience as an advocate in complex litigation matters to a new purpose, in opening a mediation and alternative dispute resolution practice. A belief in the power of mediation and in particular that a pragmatic, cost-effective and self-determined result is often in the client’s best interest, motivates Anne to apply her years of experience and skill, as a mediator to assist clients and their counsel to achieve a settlement.
Management experience
Anne has been involved in management of her firm for the past 25 years, as practice group lead, managing partner, risk management partner and now deputy managing partner.
