During this time, she also participated in an internship at The Washington Centre in Washington, D.C. where she worked at a local law firm specializing in criminal defence and civil litigation. During this internship, Meagan had the opportunity to participate in a murder jury trial as well as two wrongful death lawsuits. ?Meagan carries on a practice focusing in criminal defence, wills and estate planning, real estate and employment law.
