Louis is a partner with Miller Thomson LLP. He has a transaction-oriented practice focused on mid-market mergers & acquisitions, debt and equity financings and shareholders' arrangements. He provides transport regulatory advice to air-, rail- and highway-carriers, shippers, warehouse operators, load brokers, logistics providers, international air and ocean freight forwarders and other service providers to the transportation industry. He frequently advises foreign and domestic carriers, manufacturers, exporters and importers on the movement of goods across international borders.
Louis is a past-president of the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association, an active member of the Transportation Lawyers Association (U.S.) and the Association of Transportation Law Professionals, and a frequent speaker on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
