ERIN O’BRIEN EDMONDS, Q.C., TEP
Erin is a practicing lawyer with the law firm of Crowe Dillon Robinson in Halifax, Nova Scotia, a firm of 9 lawyers with a 40 year history.
Erin was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1984 and practicesd in the areas of Wills, Estates and Trusts, and Probate and Real Estate for the last 34 years.
Erin is the Past Membership Chair of STEP, Atlantic Branch and received the Volunteer of the year award in 2016 for Atlantic Canada. She received the Trust and Estate Planner (TEP) designation in 2005 from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
She is a former chair of the Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia (RELANS), Real Estate Standards Committee of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society, Halifax Estate Planning Council, Halifax Women’s Network and the Canadian Bar Association, Real Property Subsection.
She taught the Wills Course as volunteer to the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law Pro Bono Wills Project Law Students from 2011-2013.
Erin has been involved with continuing legal education most of her practicing career and was Chair of the materials portion of the first on line course for land migration.
Erin has received the Lawyer of the Year Award (Real Estate, Halifax) from Best Lawyers for the Years 2016 and 2018 and 2021
