Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2014, Me Annabel E. Busbridge was drawn to the practice of law by the opportunity to help others. She joined the litigation group at Bertrand Deslauriers after having worked at a class action law firm in Montreal.
Her main area of practice is challenging refusals by the immigration authorities in courts and tribunals, or finding alternative ways to resolve disputes.Annabel handles all types of immigration issues and pleads before the Federal Court, the Superior Court, the Tribunal Administratif du Quebec as well as the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.
She completed a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor at l'Université de Montréal. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology and International relations from the University of British Columbia.
Annabel's practice is defined by her personalized and empathetic approach, as well as her attention to detail. Deeply curious, Annabel has traveled extensively and is fluent in English, French and Spanish. In her spare time, Annabel volunteers at the legal clinic at Tyndale St-Georges Community Center and dances with the Yamulee Project.
