Information about the specialist
Carolynne was born and raised in Vanderhoof. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern British Columbia, where she was the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper and sat on the Board of Governors. She also holds a master's degree in journalism and worked as a newspaper editor for five years before pursuing a career in law.
Carolynne is the chair of the Board of Trustees for the Prince George Public Library. She also sits as a board member on the UNBC Alumni Association and the UNBC Childcare Society. In 2016, Carolynne was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.
Her other interests include swimming, crossword puzzles, reading, cooking, personal finance, volunteering and spending time with her husband Peter James and their children Mary and Simon.
As a general solicitor, Carolynne practices in the areas of real property, wills and estates and corporate law. Every second Wednesday, she works out of the Vanderhoof and Fort St. James offices.
