Purdy's is a famous chocolate brand across Canada. There are over 75 retail locations which they sell their Vancouver made chocolates from.
It was founded in 1907 by Richard Carmon Purdys. His store was on Robson Street in Vancouver. The company went out of business, and was sold in 1925 for $1. It was then bought again in 1963 by Charles Flavelle and Eric Wilson, later being run by Charles' daughter Karen. Karen Flavelle eventually bought it and now runs it to this day.
